Karimnagar assembly segment records lowest of 47.45 per cent
KARIMNAGAR, MAY 13, 2024: The polling process is going smoothly and peacefully in Karimnagar parliament constituency on Monday. Till 3 pm, the constituency recorded 58.24 per cent polling.
The polling process started in a brisk pace in the morning hours due to cool weather it continued the same spirit even during the scorching heat in the afternoon. At 9 am, the polling percent was 10.01, at 11 am it was 45.11 and at 3 pm it was 58.24 percent.
The Husnabad assembly segment recorded 63.98 per cent, Manakondur 62.55 per cent, Vemulawada assembly segment recorded 62.45 per cent voting, Choppadandi 61.58 per cent, Huzurabad 60.15 per cent, Sircilla 55.67 per cent and the Karimnagar assembly segment recorded lowest of 47.45 percent.
The polling percentage was steadily increasing for every hour. The voters coming out braving scorching sun to exercise their franchise. Collector Pamela Satpathy was closely monitoring the polling processing by visiting some of the polling stations and observing the webcasting of the polling from various polling stations.
