
RAMAGUNDAM, JUNE 07, 2025: NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana observed World Food Safety Day with a meaningful celebration that emphasised the importance of food hygiene and safety in ensuring the well-being of all the people working on-site on Saturday.
The event served as a platform to recognise the dedication and efforts of the Indian Coffee House (ICH) team, whose commitment to providing safe, nutritious, and hygienic meals plays a vital role in the daily operations of the station.

As a mark of appreciation, Mr PS Karthikeyan, Manager ICH, NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana and his team were felicitated and presented with a Thank You Letter from Mr Bijoy Kumar Sikdar, Head of Human Resources (HOHR) along with Mr Pravin K Chaudhary, Deputy General Manager (HR), Mr Jitendra Kumar, Deputy General Manager (HR), and Mr Adesh Kumar Pandey, Senior Manager (HR).
This gesture reflected the deep gratitude of the organisation towards the individuals who work diligently behind the scenes to ensure the health and satisfaction of employees, contractors, and visitors alike.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Bijoy Kumar Sikdar, HOHR, commended the unwavering commitment of Team ICH in maintaining exemplary standards of food safety and hygiene. He noted that the canteen services are not just about providing meals, but also about fostering a culture of health, care, and efficiency at the workplace. He also encouraged all present to continue prioritising work-life balance, underscoring the importance of physical and mental well-being in sustaining productivity and morale.
The programme concluded with a group photograph, capturing the spirit of camaraderie and appreciation that marked the occasion. World Food Safety Day at NTPC Ramagundam thus served not only as a reminder of global food safety practices but also as a heartfelt acknowledgement of the people who ensure these standards are upheld every single day.
