PEDDAPALLI, JUNE 23, 2024: The NTPC Ramagundam has clarified that they were following all the guidelines of the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for the utilization of 100 per cent ash (fly ash and bottom ash) generated in a three years cycle to protect the environment from pollution.
In an official release here on Saturday, the NTPC Ramagundam stated that “As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, every coal or lignite-based thermal power plant shall be responsible for utilising average 100 per cent ash (fly ash and bottom ash) generated in a three years cycle. To achieve an average 100% ash utilization, NTPC Ramagundam is following all the guidelines of the Government”.
NTPC Ramagundam stands firmly in its adherence to the comprehensive rules and regulations established by both governmental authorities and NTPC itself regarding the utilization of ash generated from its thermal power plant operations.
