HYDERABAD, AUGUST 14, 2024: World Women’s Boxing Champion Nikhat Zareen has thanked the state government for its proactive sports promotion policies of providing Group-I job and allotment of 600 yards of land in Hyderabad .
On her return from the Paris Olympics, Nikhat Zareen, accompanied by her father Mohammad Jameel Ahmed, met with Telangana Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir at his residence in Jubilee Hills. Nikhat Zareen expressed her gratitude to the Telangana Government, particularly Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Shabbir Ali, for the Group-1 post and 600 square yards of land. She said the government initiatives would inspire youth to pursue sports without fear for their future.
Shabbir Ali congratulated Nikhat Zareen on her commendable performance in the Paris Olympics 2024 and expressed hope that she would bring home a gold medal in the 2028 Olympics. He also wished her success in future boxing events and assured her of the State Government’s continued support in her boxing career.
