KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 26, 2024: Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Regional Office, Karimnagar is proposed to organize the “Nidhi Aapke Nikath-2.0 (PF Near You) District Awareness Camp and Outreach Program [EPFO] jointly with ESIC (SUVIDHA SAMAGAM) “to reach out in following districts on 27th June ,2024 from 9 A.M. to 05.45 P.M. In an official release here on Wednesday, Karimnagar Regional PF Commissioner Mr Selvathkar Thanaiah said “It will be a broad-based participatory awareness and outreach program for the employers and the employees simultaneously acting as a grievance redresses platform for member and information exchange Network”.
Nodal Officer will briefly explain about Exemption in EPFO- What is Exemption, an exempted trust refers to the arrangement where an employer manages its own provident fund for its employees, instead of contributing to the statutory EPF managed by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) in India. And also explain the Procedure for grant of Exemption, Procedure for Cancellation of Exemption, EPS Scheme provisions and their benefits. It will be also explained about EPS’1995 Pension, and various types of Pensions like Superannuation Pension, Widow Pension, Dependent pension, Disablement Pension and Death Pension etc. and the eligibility of to claim different Pensions in EPFO, necessary documents to be attached while filing different type of claim forms. Further, Nodal Officer will explain about how to get PPO on the day of retirement under Prayaas Initiative, and Pension & EDLI Calculator and pension benefits & DLC etc. Nodal Officer will guide how to register Grievance and redressal of Members/Pensioners/Employers issues through Grievance Portal. Apart from this, the members can also register their grievances in EPFiGMS or through Official e-mail to: ro.karimnagar@epfinida.gov.in.
And also, explain how to visit EPFO Website for ready information which is available in the portal. Further EPFO is also handling social media platform like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Public App and KOO App etc. in order to utilize the facility for obtaining latest information, it is necessary to subscribe, the Nodal Officer will guide in this regard. Further, the Nodal Officer will also explain various Schemes and Provisions benefits of EPF and EPS and also regarding updating of KYC, e-nomination, Digital Life Certificate in face App, and procedure to apply the Joint Declaration through online for correction of member details etc.
During the Financial Year 2023-2024, EPFO Regional Office Karimnagar had addressed various type of Pension claims viz. Superannuation, Death Claims and Insurance claims which were not settled due to various reasons i.e., Non-Submission of the Claim Forms from the Members and Claimants/Beneficiaries. Hence, this Office is conducting various Awareness Camps at Major Establishments, Industrial Areas, during Interaction Camps with Enforcement Officers, NAN 2.0 Camps and in Office Premises every Month so as to bring awareness among the subscribers/claimants/beneficiaries.
Further, Mr Thanaiah advised all the Defaulting Establishments to clear the dues immediately and also advised to pay the Monthly ECR of Every Establishment within the stipulated time to avoid the Penalty and Damages. Further, Regional PF Commissioner is advised Pensioners to update their Life Certificate/Jeevan Pramaan every year in order to get the pension without any break. For further clarification if any, the Regional P.F. Commissioner has advised the Members and Claimants/Beneficiaries may visit this office for necessary information and clarification.
