

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 06, 2025: SRR Government Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, in collaboration with the Women Empowerment Cell and WE Hub Foundation, successfully conducted the YUVA VEDIKA Student Bootcamp on Tuesday under the Grassroots Youth Innovation Program (GYIP).
WE Hub is India’s first state-led platform that supports innovation, training, and startup development among women and youth. The YUVA VEDIKA program is designed to encourage student innovation—particularly among young women—by fostering entrepreneurial thinking, building industry-relevant skills, and promoting self-employment.

Principal Prof. K. Ramakrishna, the Chief Guest of the event, emphasized the growing need for innovation in the field of education.
Vice Principal Sri T. Rajayya stated that such camps help in nurturing leadership and essential life skills among youth.
TGCGTA General Secretary K. Surender Reddy highlighted the role of such initiatives in fostering creativity and industrial perspective among students.
IQAC Coordinator Harjot Kaur mentioned that this bootcamp is a significant step towards the holistic development of students.
Autonomous Coordinator Dr. V. Srinivas expressed that the bootcamp is a great opportunity to motivate students toward entrepreneurship.
M Archana, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Cell, remarked that the camp plays a vital role in helping rural and urban girl students turn their entrepreneurial thoughts into action and self-sufficiency.
Mr. Taj Ali Tajdar, Program Coordinator, not only coordinated the session efficiently but also gave a detailed explanation on topics such as business idea implementation, training programs, marketing support, branding and packaging guidance, required documentation for business setup, and availing government schemes for financial assistance.
The Social Impact Team of WE Hub directly engaged with students and conducted the session in an inspiring manner, sparking entrepreneurial thinking.
Mr. Suresh Dhikonda, Project Coordinator, SIE, WE Hub, and Ms. Swathi elaborated on the vision, mission, and services of WE Hub, along with various opportunities available for students.
Ms. Soumya, Project Associate, actively conducted ice-breaker and design thinking activities, encouraging student participation and interaction.
Faculty members Rajashree, Praveen, Sirisha, Kalajyothi, Narmada, Sonia, Kiranmayi, and Chaitanya also participated in the session, contributing to the success of the event.
