HYDERABAD, JANUARY 02, 2025: The Yuva Sangam delegation from Himachal Pradesh met the Governor of Telangana Jishnu Dev Varma at Raj Bhavan Hyderabad on Thursday. The Ministry of Education, Government of India organized the Yuva Sangam programme under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB).
The Governor while addressing the team spoke about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision behind the Yuva Sangam programme. He emphasized that the initiative aims to bring cultures together, not by mixing them, but by celebrating their uniqueness and fostering unity in diversity. The Governor also recognized the efforts of the program’s nodal officers and coordinators, for their contributions to the success of the initiative.
Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Dean and Head of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at Maulana Azad National Urdu University and the Nodal Officer for the Yuva Sangam programme in Telangana, along with the special guest Prof. Ramulu More, Advisor of AICTE, and Dr. Param Singh, the Nodal Officer for Himachal Pradesh, presented a bouquet and a memento to the Governor.
Prof. Fariyad provided an overview of the Yuva Sangam initiative, highlighting its objectives. Mr. Meraj Ahmad, Assistant Professor, MCJ Department and Assistant Nodal Officer for the program, moderated the session. Lucky Chauhan and Ayushi Patiyal Students from Himachal Pradesh shared their experiences.
The delegation also visited T-Hub, Hyderabad’s renowned innovation and startup ecosystem which offered valuable insights into entrepreneurship and technological advancements, leaving the delegates inspired.
The group also explored the iconic Seven Tombs and the historic Golconda Fort. The evening concluded at the fort with a captivating Light and Sound Show. Back at MANUU, the day ended with a mesmerizing Kuchipudi performance by Bijina K.
