KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 16, 2026: World Ozone Day was celebrated at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Karimnagar, to create awareness among students about the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect it from harmful environmental pollutants on Wednesday.
The programme was organised by NSS Programme Officer K. Geetha Rani, with the participation of NSS members P Pravitha and T Jahnavi. Principal T. Malathi, Vice-Principal S. Padmaja, Superintendent T. Suresh Kumar, and Head of the Telugu Department E. Venkateshwarlu attended the programme and emphasised the importance of environmental protection and sustainable practices. Students actively participated in the programme and were encouraged to contribute towards protecting the ozone layer and maintaining a healthy environment.
