
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 17, 2025: Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, held its prestigious Investiture Ceremony 2025 with grandeur and dignity, marking the formal induction of the newly elected student council. The event was graced by Lt. Col. V. Krishna, Administrative Officer, NCC 9(T) Battalion, Karimnagar, who served as the Chief Guest for the occasion.
The ceremony began with a symbolic lighting of the lamp, signifying the spread of knowledge and the awakening of leadership. In her Welcome Address, Principal Mrs. Renuka Balivada introduced the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering, emphasising the school’s commitment to instilling values of discipline, service, and responsibility in its students.
The highlight of the ceremony was the Pinning of the Badges, where the Chief Guest, along with school dignitaries, formally conferred leadership roles to the newly elected Head Boy, Head Girl, and members of the student council. The young leaders then took a solemn Oath of Office, administered by the Principal, pledging to uphold the values and ethos of the institution.
Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari, Director (Academics), delivered an inspiring message, urging the students to lead with integrity and become ambassadors of positive change.
In their addresses, Head Boy Archit (Grade XII) and Head Girl Haripriya (Grade XII) expressed their gratitude and promised to lead by example, with sincerity and responsibility.
Delivering the keynote address, Lt. Col. V. Krishna congratulated the newly appointed leaders and praised the school for nurturing character and patriotism in its students. He encouraged the student body to be courageous, disciplined, and service-minded—qualities vital for both national progress and personal excellence.
A grand felicitation ceremony was conducted to honour its young achievers who brought laurels to the school through their outstanding performances in various state, zonal, and national-level sports competitions. Manvendra K. of Grade IX created history by setting a new world record by recalling the names of all 118 elements of the Periodic Table in just 1 minute, earning a place in the International Genius Book of Records. Alongside, students of Vivekananda Residential School brought laurels through their stellar performances — A. Hruday Kumar won a Bronze Medal in Under-19 at the South Zone Judo Championship–2025 in Tamil Nadu, while Ranveer Singh (XII), P. Megha Reddy (X), M. Sudhiksha (VIII) and N. Sameera (VI) secured Silver Medals and were selected for nationals. The Under-19 Girls Kabaddi Team clinched the Bronze Medal at the CBSE South Zone Cluster VII Tournament in Jogulamba Gadwal. In the Telangana Rope Skipping Championship 2025, D. Bhavya Sai (IX) earned a Silver Medal. In Chess, D. Abhiraama (IX) and Vaibhav Chanakya Rao (IV) won Gold Medals, while Vaibhav (IV) and S. Manindar Singh (VIII) secured Bronze Medals at the 3rd All India Open and Junior Chess Tournament 2025, organized by Genius Chess Academy, Karimnagar.
In a special message, Chairman Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani shared: “True leadership begins with service. Let our students rise not just as achievers, but as compassionate and visionary individuals who uplift others along the way. I am deeply proud of the path they are on.”
The ceremony stood as a proud moment for the school community, celebrating leadership, vision, and the enduring spirit of Vivekananda.
