KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 08, 2024: “We have fought against the government for the PRC, DA, transfers and promotions and abolition of GO 317 and even went to jail, but the teachers and employees have voted the Congress government to power”, quoted Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
He was participating at the Telangana Prantha Upadyaya Sangham (TPUS) Karimnagar district unit’s ‘Guru Vandanam’ programme at the Collectorate auditorium in Karimnagar town on Sunday along with MLC AVS Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister alleged that both the BRS and Congress were the same and they would not solve the problems of the employees and teachers. He called upon the teachers to launch agitations by taking to the streets and assured them of all assistance from his side.
He said that the employees were unable to get the benefits of PRC, DA and even retirement benefits for voting the Congress party to the power in the Telangana state. Stating that the BRS government had made debts to the tune of over Rs 5 lakh crores in the Telangana state, he said that the Congress government had promised to fulfil all the promises but it failed to do so and cheated the people. If the BJP had attained power in the state, there would not be any pending DA and implementation of PRCs, he stated.
On this occasion, the Union Minister felicitated 87 teachers.
