Reiterates to eradicate Naxalism in the country by March 31, 2026
Exudes confidence of the BJP attaining power in Telangana state soon

NIZAMABAD, JUNE 29, 2025: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Sunday inaugurated the National Turmeric Board in Nizamabad.
Union Minister and State BJP president G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, State Ministers Tummala Nageshwar Rao and Anasuya Seethakka, Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind, Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajender, MLCs Malka Komuraiah and Anji Reddy, Turmeric Board chairman Palle Ganga Reddy and others were also present.
The long-felt dream of the farmers of the region, who are cultivating turmeric in Nizamabad and Jagtial districts, will be realised with the Turmeric Board. With this board, the Turmeric produced by the farmers would be exported throughout the world.
On this occasion, Union Minister Amit Shah has called upon the Naxalites to shun violence and join the mainstream of society, as there is no place for Naxalism in the country. Stating that the government is committed to eradicate terrorism and naxalism, he said that the Union government had set a target of declaring naxal-free India by March 31, 2026. He also reminded that already over 10,000 naxalites had surrendered in various parts of the country.
He exuded confidence that the BJP would attain power in the Telangana state in the elections. He said that the people were fed up with the BRS, which is plagued by several corruption charges and the Congress party turning as an ATM for the Delhi Congress.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar captivates gathering
“People of Telangana, you have given every party a chance — now, it’s time to give the BJP the mandate,” urged Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, addressing the people of the state.
He made this appeal at the Farmers’ Maha Sammelan, held at the Polytechnic College Grounds in Nizamabad, shortly after the inauguration of the Turmeric Board office earlier today. As Bandi Sanjay stood up to deliver his speech, the gathering erupted in applause. Impressed by the wave of public enthusiasm, Amit Shah listened to his address with a smile. The key highlights of Bandi Sanjay’s speech were:
“People of Nizamabad district are remarkable. You fought and achieved this Turmeric Board. I request all of you to stand and applaud Amit Shah with gratitude.” (Everyone stood up and clapped.)
“Each of you farmers is a hero. Your struggles were no ordinary movements. Everyone is now calling Arvind — ‘Pasupu Arvind’ (Turmeric Arvind).
Our government stands with farmers. Earlier, the slogan was to make the farmer a king… but the Modi government’s vision is to make the farmer a great emperor — a ‘Maharaja’. People of Telangana, I’ve one humble request — you’ve given every party a chance; now, it’s time to place your trust in the BJP and allow us to serve with full responsibility, he stated.
