He is contesting from the Karimnagar Graduates constituency for the ensuing Legislative Council elections
ADILABAD, OCTOBER 18, 2024: Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) state Chief Advisor Y Shekhar Rao has launched his electioneering for the ensuing Legislative Council elections by interacting with various sections of society in Asifabad and other parts of erstwhile Adilabad district on Friday.
Mr Shekhar Rao visited the Asifabad district court and met Bar Association president Ravi and other senior advocates and sought their support in the elections as he has decided to contest from the Karimnagar Graduates Constituency in the ensuing MLC elections,
He promised the advocates to provide all assistance for the abolition of CPC code 41A. He also assured to take all measures for the protection of the legal profession and promised to provide a stipend to the junior advocates.
Later, he visited several private schools, residential schools, model schools and interacted with teaching and non-teaching staff. On this occasion, he assured to ensure that the retirement benefits were provided to the employees on the day of their retirement.
Expressing concern over the non-release of fee reimbursement and scholarships to the students by the government, he said that he would take all measures to pressurize the government to ensure prompt release of fee reimbursement and scholarships to the students.
Mr Shekhar Rao also promised to provide Rs 10 lakhs health insurance coverage to the private educational institutions teaching and non-teaching faculty members if elected as MLC.
On this occasion, he appealed to all the graduates to enroll as voters. TRSMA associate president Kishan Rao, Asifabad president Bhushanam, general secretary Tirupati, treasurer Rajendra Prasad, working president Sanjeeva Rao, Mancherial district TRSMA former president R Vishnuvardhan Rao and others were also present.
