KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 29, 2024: Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) State Chief Advisor Yadagiri Shekhar Rao has extended solidarity to the agitating Students Federation of India (SFI) activists demanding the government to release the pending fee reimbursement in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
The SFI district unit has launched a relay hunger strike in front of the Collectorate demanding the government to release the long pending fee reimbursement dues. Mr Shekhar Rao, who is also a contestant from the Karimnagar Graduates Constituency for the ensuing MLC elections, has extended solidarity by visiting the agitation camp and participating in the agitation.
On this occasion, he demanded the government fulfil the promises made to the people of the state and immediately release the pending fee reimbursement. He also demanded the government implement the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and threatened to approach the court.
Later, Mr Shekhar Rao visited various educational institutions in the town and intensified his electioneering and appealing to the Graduates to enrol as voters and exercise their franchise in his favour to remain as their voice in the Legislative Council.
