TRSMA chief advisor intensifies electioneering for MLC elections in Sircilla textile town

Promises free education to the children of a weaver’s couple, who had committed suicide

Demands government to revive weaving of Bathukamma sarees to employ weavers

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, NOVEMBER 12, 2024: Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) state chief advisor and contestant from the Karimnagar Graduates Constituency in the MLC elections Yadagiri Shekhar Rao has intensified his electioneering in the Sircilla textile town on Tuesday.

He participated in the morning walk along with the walkers at the Government college grounds interacted with them and inquired about the prevailing situation in the textile town. Expressing concern over the harassment by the electricity authorities, Mr Shekhar Rao assured to ensure that the government takes all measures for the clearance of pending power bill dues.

He demanded that the government should provide power subsidies to the powerloom weavers up to 25 HP motors instead of the existing 10 HP capacity. Flaying the government for stopping the weaving of Bathukamma sarees, he demanded the government to take measures to provide regular employment to the powerloom weavers by providing bulk orders from the government.

With regard to the suicidal death of powerloom weaver couple Bairi Amar and Sravanti leaving three children as orphans, the TRSMA state leader urged Surabhi school chairman Ella Srinivas (TRSMA town president) to provide free education to the children, he promised to provide free education to the children Lahari (tenth class), Sirivalli (ninth class) and Deekshith (seventh class) till the Intermediate education.

Later, Mr Shekhar Rao visited various schools such as Vignan Vardhini, Celestial, Vivekananda Vidyanikethan, Sri Sabari Vani Vidyanikethan, Mahatma Grammer, Kakatiya, Vikas Degree College, Surya Oxford, Sairi Junior college, Sahasra junior college, Sri Krisnaveni talent school and Radiant school and campaigned for the electioneering. TRSMA town president Y Srinivas, district president Nagula Srinivas Goud, principals Bhaskar Reddy, Radhakrishna Prasad, Butcha Rao, Y Srinivas, Shankara Rao, Raji Reddy, Jagan Goud, Ch Kiran, Tirupati, Srinivas Palle Raji Reddy, Raja Bhanu and others were also present.
