Tributes paid to Lok Satta Srinivas on his fourth death anniversary at Film Bhavan in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 16, 2025: Following a news report published on this website on Saturday titled “Lok Satta Sennanas’s fourth death anniversary: But none to pay tributes to the lone crusader against corruption, the members associated with Lok Satta udyama samstha, Karimnagar consumer council, Karimnagar Film Society and other organisations paid floral tributes to the portrait of Naredla Srinivas at Film bhavan in Karimnagar town on Sunday evening.

Recollecting the services of Srinivas, the founder of the Lok Satta udyama samstha, KCC and Karimnagar film society, KCC president R Chandra Prabhakar said that Mr Naredla Srinivas always strived for the upliftment of all sections of society and crusaded against the corruption. He was in the forefront to fight against irregularities committed by various agencies of the government.

He said that Mr Srinivas was the man of the masses and always strived for their wellness. Quoting several instances of Mr Srinivas, who filed several cases for the protection of consumers in the courts, he said that Mr Srinivas was a role model for the present generation and called upon the people to follow his footsteps. KCC secretary R Venkateshwar Rao, leaders Kola Ramachandra Reddy, Varala Mahesh, Laxman Kumar, Raghuram, Laxminarayana, Pathi Laxma Reddy, Syed Muzaffar and others were also present.

‘It is an insult to Seenanna’

Lok Satta Udyama Samstha Karimnagar town convenor KS Narayana has found fault with the leaders of Lok Satta, Karimnagar Consumer Council and Karimnagar Film society for paying tributes to the founder of Lok Satta, KCC and Film society N Srinivas on the second day of his death anniversary.

Ridiculing the leaders for insulting N Srinivas by not respecting him on his death anniversary on Saturday (February 15), Mr Narayana said that it was really unfair on the part of the so-called leaders of Lok Satta, KCC and Film society. He also flayed the leaders for not even installing the promised bust-size statue on the premises of Film bhavan. He said that this is not the way of following the footsteps of Seenanna for the cause of society.
