KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 08, 2026: Faculty members and students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunur, Karimnagar, celebrated International Women’s Day with lots of enthusiasm on Sunday.
The programme was organised to recognise women’s achievements and raise awareness of women’s empowerment and gender equality among students.
The celebration was held under the guidance of the Principal, T. Malathi, and the Vice-Principal, S. Padmaja. Along with all the staff members, they encouraged students to participate actively in the event. Superintendent Suresh Kumar also supported the programme and appreciated the efforts of the students.
During the programme, many students participated enthusiastically. They delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the role of women in society and the importance of education and empowerment for women. Students also sang songs dedicated to women.
