KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 24, 2024: The Telangana Udyogula Sangham (TUS) State Secretary and integrated district coordinator Mohammed Fayaz Ali and integrated Karimnagar district chairman Jakkoju Venkateshwarlu welcomed the state government’s decision to constitute a cabinet sub-committee to examine and make recommendations to the government on the controversial GO number 317, which had caused umpteen woes to the employees by separating them from their families.
The state government has constituted sub-committee headed by Minister for Health Damodara Rajanarasimha, Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar as its members on Saturday.
In a statement here, TUS leaders hailed the state government decision to constitute a cabinet sub-committee by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and showed the prevalence of ‘people’s government’ in the Telangana state. They urged the government to convene a meeting with all teachers and employees associations and collect petitions from the employees who suffered a lot due to GO 317. They also urged the government to review the zonal system and propose new zones as per the prevailing old integrated 10 districts in the Telangana state.
