Telangana state has lost nothing except for losing jobs for four members in KCR’s family: allege CM Revanth Reddy

KCR is the only opposition leader who does not attend the Assembly session

HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 11, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has alleged that the former BRS government leaders have never considered the welfare of the Telangana state’s unemployed youth.

“One big leader made a political comment that people have come to know what they have lost in 10 months. The Telangana people lost nothing except 4 jobs in the leader’s house”, he said indirectly referring to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

During the 10-month tenure, unemployed youth got jobs, and farmers were relieved from the mounting debt burden by the farm loan waiver scheme, he stated. He added that 1.05 crore women benefited from the free TGSRTS bus travel scheme. Now, the debt-ridden RTC is also earning profits, he maintained.

He spoke after handing over the appointment orders to the newly recruited Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors (AMVIs) Transport office in Khairtabad in Hyderabad on Monday. Mr Reddy said that the People’s Government filled 50,000 vacancies within 10 months of coming to power in the state. It had witnessed happiness in the eyes of the parents of the unemployed by handing over appointment letters to the newly recruited persons at the LB Stadium. It is the most satisfying moment for me, he stated.

Appealing to the newly recruited AMVIs- speak to the students and unemployed in your respective villages and inspire them to prepare for competitive exams, he informed them to build confidence among the youth about the importance of education, which only give recognition and respect, and also repose faith in  the government.

He said that the 49 lakh and 90 thousand families were beneficiaries of 200 units of the free power supply scheme. He said that the government as distributing cooking gas cylinders at only Rs 500 and added that they had enhanced the Arogyasri health insurance scheme limit to Rs 10 lakhs for medical treatment.

Stating that they had promoted 21,000 teachers and transferred 35,000 teachers, he alleged that Mr KCR had constructed the State Secretariat and Pragati Bhavan for ‘Vaastu’  reasons and no residential school was built during his rule.  The Congress Government started the construction of Young India Residential Schools in 100 constituencies. We are providing quality education which will only build a strong Telangana society, he added.

Claiming that they had successfully conducted an examination for recruitment of 563 Group I posts despite creating many hurdles, he said that the Government will give appointment letters to the selected candidates soon and make them partners in the reconstruction of the  Telangana State.

“State government supported farmers and the unemployed in 10 months and also provided quality education to the students. We have done all these things as part of the reconstruction of Telangana. No one is feeling sad about your absenteeism.  Telangana Society has already forgotten KCR. People do not require your services”, he quipped.

Hoping for a change in you and support the government for doing good to the state, he appealed to the BRS president to give suggestions if any mistakes in the governance.  “We have seen absentees in the schools. Witnessing a strange situation that the main opposition leader is not attending the Assembly session”, he pointed out.
