KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 09, 2026: Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, celebrated Telangana Language Day (Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam) with great enthusiasm on Wednesday (September 9), commemorating the birth anniversary of the renowned poet and Telangana cultural icon, Shri Kaloji Narayana Rao.
The celebration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Kaloji Narayana Rao’s portrait, in recognition of his remarkable contribution to Telugu literature and Telangana’s cultural heritage.
Students actively participated in the programme and presented a beautiful dance performance and an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of Telangana Language Day and the enduring legacy of Kaloji Narayana Rao. Students also presented melodious songs celebrating the richness and significance of the Telugu language.
Vice Principal Mr. M. Prashanth and Headmistress Mrs. V. Anitha participated in the celebrations and congratulated the students on their enthusiastic participation and impressive performances.

Mr. Gandra Laxman Rao, Advisor to the Managing Committee, appreciated the students and congratulated them for showcasing their talent and celebrating the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of Telangana.
On the occasion, Chairman Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polasani, Director (Academics) Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari, and Principal Dr. R. Reteesh extended their warm wishes to the students and staff. They appreciated the efforts of the students in celebrating the Telugu language and encouraged them to take pride in Telangana’s rich literary and cultural heritage.
The celebration concluded on a meaningful note, reminding everyone of the importance of preserving and respecting the Telugu language, literature, culture, and heritage of Telangana.
