Singareni Chairman Buddhaprakash Jyoti’s Call at Telangana Formation Day Celebrations
HYDERABAD, JUNE 02, 2026: Singareni Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti, stated that taking Singareni, one of Telangana’s most important enterprises, to international standards would be a matter of pride for the state. He called upon all employees to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and commitment to achieve this goal. He was addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest at the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations held at Singareni Bhavan, Hyderabad, on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Buddhaprakash Jyoti said that Singareni is expanding not only within Telangana but also into other states, and that the organisation should work with the vision of gradually establishing its presence on the international stage. He noted that Telangana was achieved through the sacrifices of numerous youth, leaders, and people from all walks of life. Since becoming a separate state, Telangana has made remarkable progress in various sectors and has created significant employment opportunities for its youth, he added.
Highlighting Singareni’s bright future, he emphasised the need to increase production and productivity by making optimum use of machinery in both opencast and underground mines, while also improving the quality of operations and output. Before the meeting, Dr. Jyoti paid floral tributes to the statues and portraits of Telangana Thalli, the Martyrs’ Memorial, and Professor K. Jayashankar. He later unfurled the National Flag.
As part of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations, employees who rendered outstanding services were felicitated by the dignitaries. The awardees included: L. Srinivas, AGM (Purchase), Y. Lakshminarayana, MV Driver, D. Rudramma, Outsourcing Employee. The programme was also attended by Sri Gowtham Potru, Director (Personnel & Finance), and Sri. T. Srinivas, General Manager (Coordination & Marketing), among others.
