KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 08, 2026: The vibrant spirit of Telangana’s rich heritage echoed through Trinity Degree and PG College as faculty and students gathered to celebrate the Bonalu festival with extraordinary enthusiasm and traditional grandeur on Saturday.
Dressed in their traditional attire, women students carried artistically crafted and decorated Bonams with neem leaves across the campus, creating a visual spectacle that served as the centrepiece of the festivities. The campus resonated with traditional teenmaar music and dance, embodying the true essence of Telangana’s grand cultural ethos.
Highlighting the significance of the event, College Founder Chairman Dasari Manohar Reddy emphasised the vital role educational institutes play in heritage preservation. “It is our core responsibility to ground the youth in our rich traditions while preparing them for the future,” Mr. Reddy stated. “We regularly organise such cultural showcases to cultivate strong values, cultural pride, and community spirit among our students.”
The event drew active participation from across the institution, with Chairman Dasari Prashanth Reddy, the College Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, and hundreds of students coming together to make the celebration a resounding success.
