Teachers celebrate decennial celebrations of Telangana state formation day

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 02, 2024: Teachers of Arvintree and Bhagavathi High Schools in Vasudeva colony and Bhagathnagar respectively in Karimnagar town celebrated the decennial Telangana State Formation day with pomp gaiety on Sunday.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of national-flag by school chairman B Ramana Rao and Director B Vijaya Lakshmi separately. Later, the teachers formed into various groups and educated the importance of formation of Telangana state and the history of statehood movement.

Enlightening the traditional festivals of the Telangana state such as Bathukamma, Dasara, Bonalu etc, they also educated the history of ancient temples located in various parts of the state including along the shores of rivers Godavari and Krishna. They also enacted small skits to highlight the state’s culture and history.

Recollecting the supreme sacrifices made by the martyrs for the formation of Telangana state, Chairman B Ramana Rao appreciated the teachers for novel way of presentation of Telangana history, culture and importance of statehood movement. He informed the teachers to teach the same to the students after the start of the academic year.
