KARIMNAGAR, MAY 13, 2025: The Telangana Employees Association (TEA) Karimnagar district unit has urged the state government to postpone the scheduled Teachers training programme and Badi baata programme from May 14 and June 6, respectively, given the prevailing heatwave conditions in the state.
In a statement here on Tuesday, TEA district president MA Quadri suggested that the government should conduct the teacher training and Badi Baata programme after the reopening of schools on June 12, when the temperature would cool down. Stating that the weathermen were alerting people to stay indoors from 11 am to 5 pm following the blistering heatwave conditions, he urged the government to rethink about its decision for the conduct of training and Badi baata to protect the teachers from the sunstroke and other health issues.
