KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 15, 2026: Employees of Telangana Cooperative Central Banks Employees Association (TCCBEA) have staged a lunch-hour demonstration by wearing black badges in front of all the DCCB branches in various parts of Telangana state, including Karimnagar district, on Wednesday.
The TCCBEA employees were opposing the TGCAB decision to recover the incentives and ex gratia provided to the DCCBs for their outstanding performance and earning profits. The TCCBEA has decided to stage lunch hour demonstrations from April 15 to 12, 2026. They would submit memorandums to the officials concerned on April 23 and 24.
They would stage a massive dharna in front of all DCCBs in the state on April 27. The employees would participate in a massive dharna and go on mass leave on April 29. They would stage a massive dharna in front of TGCAB in Hyderabad by all nine DCCBs on April 30. The employees would also go on a one-day strike and participate in various agitations on May 2.
In the Karimnagar district head office, TCCBEA state secretary Praveen, district president G Hanumantha Rao, secretary T Raju and others participated in the demonstration. They found fault with the TGCAB for the recovery of the incentives, such as bonuses from the employees.
