KARIMNAGAR, JANUUARY 12, 2026: Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous) in Karimnagar town celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a great monk, philosopher and social reformer, which is also celebrated as National Youth Day, on the college campus on Monday.
Controller of Examinations G Srinivas, Additional Controller of Examinations K Sateesh Kumar, WEC coordinator B Rajani Devi and others participated in the celebrations by paying floral tributes to the statue of Swami Vivekananda on the campus.
On this occasion, the students and staff remembered Swami Vivekananda’s inspiring words, such as “Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.” His life and message continue to guide the youth towards nation-building and moral values, they stated.
