KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 12, 2026: St George International (CBSE) in Karimnagar town commemorated and celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, which is also observed as National Youth Day, by paying floral tributes to his portrait on the school campus on Monday.
School Chairman P. Fatima Reddy made aware of Swami Vivekananda by explicating that he was a huge patriot, a great orator and thinker, as well as a spiritually minded individual. He continued to work with the great philosophy of his guru, Ramakrishna. He founded the Belur Math, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, he added.
He conveyed Swami’s message to the students of self-awakening and universal brotherhood, which still remains relevant around the world to the students. He also quoted his line, “Believe in yourself and the world will be at your feet.”
Mr Fatima Reddy called upon the students to draw inspiration from his ideals and become active participants in nation-building. As part of the celebrations, teachers delivered speeches on the biography and teachings of Vivekananda. School Principals, Bhargav and Priyadarshini, noted that these celebrations play a vital role in fostering patriotism and moral values among the students.
