‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ (SHS) drive has been observed since 2017, which culminates in Swachh Bharat Diwas on October 2 every year as a mark of tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary.
The SHS campaign, organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Ministry of Jal Sakti, is held with a specific theme from September 15 to October 2 as a practice and the theme for SHS-2024 “Swabhav Swachhata- Sanskaar Swachhata”.
