Students of Vaniniketan School captivate with exhibition on science concepts

KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 28, 2024:  The students of Vaniniketan Balavihar English Medium High School in Karimnagar town celebrated the National Science day by organising a science exhibition on various science concepts as guided by their teachers on Wednesday.

School chairperson P Renuka, TRSMA chief advisor Y Shekhar Rao and others launched the celebrations by paying floral tributes to Sir CV Raman, who invented ‘Raman effect’ on this day in 1928 and won Noble prize in 1930. They visited all the stalls and inspected the exhibits presented by the students and observed the experimental demonstration of the various science concepts. The students had presented 77 models including automatic cleaning machine, Chandrayaan-3, heart working model, waste water purification, functioning of eyes etc.

Speaking on the occasion, the chairperson Renuka said that the day is celebrated to recall the contribution by Nobel laureate, physicist CV Raman on this day in 1928. She mentioned that school had initiated several programmes focused in developing scientific understanding and innovation among the students. TRSMA chief advisor Shekhar Rao informed the students to keep with the technology and grasp science facts to unravel their creativity for new innovations. Science fair coordinator Hanumantha Rao, Academic coordinator Neelakantam, Kids Care incharge Sandeep Jayson, teachers and parents also participated.
