Hindi Diwas celebrated with great enthusiasm
HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 13, 2024: Students of The Play School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ to emphasise the significance of most widely spoken language in India, with great zeal and enthusiasm on Friday.
On this occasion, the students participated in various activities such as poem recitation, poster writing, and reading of speeches and fun-filled cultural programmes and followed by dance depicting the importance of language.
Principal Dr. Lalitha Kumari said that Hindi reminds us of our true identity and binds the nation as a well-knit family. She encouraged children to learn the language and conveyed the greetings of Hindi Diwas.
School Chairman Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani, and Correspondent, Rtn. Hari Hara Prasad, also extended their wishes, emphasizing the significance of the Hindi language and its integral role in preserving our culture and heritage.
The Hindi Diwas celebration reaffirmed the significance of the Hindi language and promoted cultural harmony and understanding amongst the students and the community at large. The event not only celebrated the language but also provided a platform for students to showcase their talent and express the rich cultural heritage of India.
Hindi Diwas is celebrated on September 14 to pay tribute to the official language of India. It marks the birth anniversary of Beohar Rajendra Simha, an acclaimed Indian scholar, historian, and writer, who played a significant role in getting the language its due credit.
