

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 20, 2025: Students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar town, have won accolades for their outstanding performances during the cultural programmes conducted as part of the ‘Yuva Utsav’ conducted by Nehru Yuva Kendra at Vaageshwari engineering college on the outskirts of Karimnagar town.

G Samatha and her team had won a cash prize of Rs 7,000 for their performance in cultural programmes, P Srija has won cash prize of Rs 2,500 as first prize in the painting competition and P Parthivi has won Rs 1,000 cash prize as third prize in the painting competitions.
Collector Pamela Satpathy distributed the prizes to the students. The first prize winners in the cultural events would participate in the national level competitions, said NSS Programme Officer K Geetha Rani. On this occasion, the College principal T Malathi, Vice Principal G Samatha, the faculty members S Padmaja, K Radhika, E Venkateshwarlu, P Shankaraiah and others congratulated the students.
