KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 14, 2024: St George International School (CBSE) and Paradise High School in Karimnagar town celebrated a fun-filled Children’s Day for students with enthusiasm and vigour to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on Thursday.
The children arrived in their best attire and civil costumes. They participated in a special assembly and cultural activities by singing songs, dancing to popular numbers, playing small skits on the importance of Children’s Day, and more. An essay writing competition was also conducted for the students on the occasion. Some of the students dressed up as ‘Chacha Nehru’ by wearing a rose on the coat.
Schools Chairman P Fatima Reddy inaugurated the programmes by lighting the lamp. He also enlightened the students with the contribution of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his love and affection towards children as the building blocks of the nation. Greeting the students, he boosted the students to render their roles as responsible youth of the society.
Eminent Physician Dr Sangeetha participated in the celebrations as guest of honour and inspired the students with her words of wisdom. Academic CEO Umakant, Principals T.Vasantha, Bhargav, Niranjan, Vice Principals Madhu, and Prasad Reddy, teachers, students, and parents attended the event.
