JAGTIAL, AUGUST 18, 2026: The JIGNASA Student Study Project undertaken by the Department of Hindi, Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Jagtial, was selected for the State-Level Presentation and was successfully presented on Tuesday at the Seminar Hall of Indira Priyadarshini Government College for Women (Autonomous), Nampally, Hyderabad.
The project, titled “Hindi Aur Telugu Mein Samaan Uchcharan Wale Bhinnarthi Shabd: Vishleshanatmak Adhyayan” (An Analytical Study of Hindi and Telugu Words with Similar Pronunciation but Different Meanings), was presented by five students pursuing B.A. and B.Com. Courses.
The participating students—Mehak Bhanu, Nabeela Shafeen, Shaima Naaz, Poonam Rajpurohit and Adeena Mehak—presented an analytical study of words in Hindi and Telugu that have similar pronunciation but different meanings. The presentation was evaluated by the panel of judges.

Certificates were presented to the participating students upon successful completion of the presentation by Professor D.S. Rajender Singh, Joint Director, Department of Collegiate Education; Professor P. Bala Bhaskar; Coordinating Officer Rajendra Prasad; and the judges.
On the occasion, Principal Professor K. Ramakrishna, Vice-Principal Prof. T. Pramod Kumar, Chandraiah, Staff Secretary N Sangeetha Rani, and the teaching staff congratulated the students and JIGNASA Project Supervisor Professor V. Varaprasad for their successful participation and dedicated efforts.
