
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 18, 2026: Students of Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, Karimnagar, joyfully celebrated the historic launch of Vikram-1 by Skyroot Aerospace during Mission Aagaman on Saturday, which marked India’s first privately developed orbital rocket to launch into space from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
On this occasion, the students hailed the space scientists and raised slogans of ‘Bharath Matha Ki Jai’ by waving the national flag. Hailing the achievement of scientists, Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy said that this is a proud moment for every Indian and an inspiration for generations of young innovators. He said, “May India’s journey to the stars continue to soar.” Vikram-1, India’s first privately developed four-stage, seven-storey-tall orbital rocket, launched at 12.05 pm on Saturday, successfully placed multiple technology demonstration payloads and postcards, including from Prime Minister Modi, into a low Earth orbit.
