HYDERABAD, JANUARY 06, 2026: Students of Government Degree College, Shamshabad, on the outskirts of Hyderabad city, had taken up a novel campaign to provide immediate medical assistance to the accident victims by installing first-aid kits and first-aid boxes at the busy roads on the Shamshabad road.
The idea was taken up by the students under the guidance of Principal Himabindu. Accordingly, the students and faculty members met Shamshabad DCP Ramesh and presented a model first-aid kit to the police. The students told the DCP that they had taken up a novel idea following the high incidence of accidents in Shamshabad, to provide immediate medical assistance to the victims.
The DCP appreciated the students and college faculty members for their novel assistance in saving the accident victims. College Principal Himabindu, Academic coordinator S Ravinder Reddy, faculty members V Venkatesh Goud, S Venkataiah, Haritha and others were also present.
