KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 30, 2024: Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated at Arvintree High School, Vasudeva Colony, Karimnagar, on Wednesday with religious fervour and gaiety.
The day commenced with a special morning assembly, wherein students delivered speeches on the significance of the festival and the relevance of eco-friendly celebrations. Coordinator Saroja stressed opting for a green Diwali to save the environment. She informed the students to celebrate the festival by lighting more lamps.
The students also conducted a ‘Say No to Crackers’ campaign to raise pollution awareness. The students vowed to celebrate Green and Clean Diwali without causing air and sound pollution.
