KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 16, 2024: Stage is all set for the smooth conduct of Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) from February 28 to March 16, 2024, from 9 am to 12 noon in various parts of Karimnagar district.
A total of 33,549 students including 16,590 first year and 16,959 second year students, will appear for the examinations in 56 centres which includes 35 local and 21 non-local.
Accordingly, Additional Collector Laxmi Kiran conducted a review meeting on the conduct of Intermediate examinations with the officials concerned on Friday. On this occasion, she had instructed the revenue officials to impose prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC in and around the examination centres. The police department was instructed to make adequate security arrangements with the deploying of additional police forces at the centres and also while transportation of examination question papers from the treasury to the examination centres.
She directed the DEO to make arrangements for the deploying of the invigilators by roping in the services of SGTs and PETs if there was shortage of invigilators. The RTC was informed to operate special bus services during the examination period for the benefit of students. The DMHO was informed to deploy medical teams at all examination centres.
Informing the authorities to ensure that there was adequate lighting and electricity, she aslo informed the authorities to make adequate drinking water arrangements at all the centres. The electricity authorities were instructed to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the time of examinations. She also instructed the officials to constitute sitting squads and flying squads to check any malpractices during the exams.
District intermediate education officer G Jagan Mohan Reddy, examinations committee members K Ravinder Reddy and V Anjaneya Rao, HPC member Madhumohan Rao, DEO Janardhan Rao, DFO Venkanna, DMHO, NPDCL, postal, police, RTC officials participated in the meeting.
