

KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 21, 2025: SRR Government Arts & Science College (Autonomous) Karimnagar, organised a special event to commemorate National Civil Services Day on Monday, honouring the dedication and contributions of civil servants in the nation-building. The programme was \aimed to inspire students to pursue careers in public service and understand the role of civil services in governance.

The event featured keynote speaker Rajesham, Assistant Professor of History, who highlighted the values of integrity, leadership, and public welfare in civil services. Faculty members and students spoke on the “Role of Civil Services in a Developing India.” The principal of the college, Prof K Ramakrishna, emphasised ethical governance and administrative excellence. Vice Principals Nithin Pathak and T Rajaiah focused on saying that the Civil Services are the backbone of democracy, who are upholding constitutional values while serving marginalised communities.
Harjoth Kaur, IQAC coordinator, commended the efforts of civil servants and encouraged students to contribute meaningfully to society. Somanarsaiah, the organiser of the event, spoke that people-centric policies outlast political changes and that those civil servants serve with courage and compassion. The event concluded with an oath-taking ceremony, reaffirming the commitment to public service.
