KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 20, 2024: Students of the SRR Government Arts and Sciences College, Karimnagar, have won the undergraduate cricket tournament held at SRR college grounds in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
The SRR college team has beat the Vivekananda degree college students in the finals and won the title. A total of 26 teams from various degree colleges under jurisdiction of Satavahana University have participated in the tournament and SRR college students won the title.
SRR college principal K Ramakrishna, expressed joy over SRR College’s success in the competition. He extended congratulations to Sainath, the captain of the SRR cricket team, as well as to College Physical Director Nageswara Rao and all the team members.
During the event, Satavahana University Sports Board Secretary Nizamuddin Munvar , Sridhar Rao, of GDC Women’s Karimnagar Physical Director, Satavahana University Physical Director Vijayakumar, Vivekananda Degree College Physical Director, and players from various colleges were present. The victorious team is set to participate in South India’s level cricket tournaments scheduled for April in Hyderabad.
