Singareni regularises the services of Badili Workers as General Mazdoors

PEDDAPALLI, AUGUST 30, 2024: Good news to the Singareni Badili Workers as the management has reguralised their services as General Mazdoors on Friday.

Singareni Chairman and Managing Director N Balaram said that they regularised the services of 2364 Badili Workers as General Mazdoors. The management had regularised the services who had worked at least 190 days in the underground mines and 240 days in Opencast projects during a calendar year.

According to an official here on Friday, the SCCL had announced that the Badili Workers would be recognized as General Mazdoors from September 1, 2024 onwards. It may be recalled that the coal miners recruited under compassionate grounds and dependent employment scheme would be recruited as Badili workers only and after seeing their performance and one-year muster they would be promoted as the General Mazdoors.

Promoting them as General Mazdoors would help the highly qualified candidates to write department examinations and get various promotions. Besides, they would allocate priority in the allocation of quarters.

SCCL Chairman Balaram informed the regularised coal miners to work with dedication. He informed them to attend to their duties regularly and maintain utmost priority for following the duty timings. Stating that they would be recruiting more than 1,000 internal jobs in the Singareni, he informed the candidates utilise the opportunities by working hard.

The services of Badili Workers regularised to General Mazdoors include; 25 in Corporate Area, 17 in Kothagudem, nine in Illendu, 21 in Manuguru, 476 in Bhupalapalli, 563 in Ramagundam-1 area, 50 in Ramagundam-2 area, 240 in Ramagundam-3 and Adriyala project area and 655 in Srirampur area, 299 in Mandamarri area and nine members in Bellampalli area.
