KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18, 2024: Students of Siddartha High Schools of Bhagathnagar and Mankammathota branches in Karimnagar town have excelled in the mandal level School Games Federation (SGF) sports meet conducted at Ambedkar stadium in Karimnagar town from September 9 to 17, 2024.
The students secured first position in the Junior Volleyball for girls and won gold medal and in senior volleyball for girls they secured second prize. In the Junior Kabaddi for girls, they secured second prize and in the senior kho-kho for girls, they secured second position.
In the senior Kabaddi for boys, they secured second position, in the junior volleyball for boys, they secured second position. In the athletics, eighth class student Sai Chaitanya secured first position in 400 meters running ad secured position in 600 meters and 100 meters running. He also secured second position in high jump and selected to participate in South Zone state level SGF games in Osmania university.
In the senior girls, tenth class student K Kavya secured second prize in long-jump, ninth class student Hansi secured bronze medal in high-jump, tenth class student O Sumalatha secured silver medal disc-throw, in the juniors category for girls, N Sandeepa and in the junior boys category G Satwik secured silver medals in disc-throw. On this occasion, School chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy congratulated and felicitated the students.
