KOTHAGUDEM, JANUARY 02, 2026: Sanjana Thallapelli, Founder of Shree Natural Honey, in collaboration with the National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM), inaugurated a specialised beekeeping training programme on Thursday at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Kothagudem office.
The programme is providing intensive training to 25 members from local Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) to promote sustainable livelihoods through apiculture.
Key Program Details:
Scientific Rearing: Participants are receiving hands-on instruction in modern beekeeping equipment and hive management.
Expert Support: The training is supported by NIPHM’s technical expertise and the local KVK Kothagudem office, led by Programme Coordinator T. Bharath.
Impact: Sanjana Thallapelli emphasised that this initiative aims to empower FPO farmers by providing them with the skills to produce high-quality honey while enhancing local crop yields through essential pollination services.
Future Growth: The collaboration focuses on creating a reliable supply chain for natural honey and establishing Kothagudem as a hub for scientific apiculture.
This training is part of a larger mission by Shree Natural Honey to integrate professional beekeeping practices with farmer-led organisations for rural economic development.
