

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 18, 2025: A two-day national seminar on ‘Eco-fiction in Indian Literature’ was formally inaugurated at the Government Degree College in Jammikunta town of Karimnagar district on Tuesday.


NIT Warangal professor Raja Vishwanathan delivered a keynote lecture at the seminar. He said that the mythological epics of Ramayana and Mahabharatha also focused on the significance of ecology. College Principal B Ramesh and SRR government College Principal K Ramakrishna highlighted the relationship between nature and humans.
Seminar convenor S O Kumar presented the objective and theme of the seminar. Seminar Organizing secretary Shamala, co-convenor Umakiran, academic coordinator Rajemdram, delegates from various colleges across the state faculty members, research scholars, and students participated. About 60 research papers are presented by the delegates.
