KAZIPET, JULY 08, 2024: Employees associated with the South Central Railway Employees Sangh (SCRES) have decided to stage a massive demonstration in front of all the Railway offices demanding the restoration of Old Pension Scheme (OPS) on July 11, 2024.
In a statement here on Monday, SCRES loco running branch working chairman and social media divisional coordinator Rajkumar Paka said that the employees would be staging a massive dharna in front of Sanchalan Bhavan, Secunderabad, as well as in front of all the railway offices in SCR. He said that the employees were demanding the railways to restore the OPS and abolish the new pension scheme to all the railway employees who are recruited on or after January 1, 2004.
