KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 07, 2024: A Science Fair was organised at Rishi, the Play School, Housing Board colony, Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Students presented different types of models related to different branches of science, Maths and social science. The fair was inaugurated by school chairman Kamarapu Chennappa. On this occasion, Mr Chennappa said that the science fair was organised to commemorate the invention of Raman Effect by Sir CV Raman, a physicist and won the Noble prize for his invention.
The main attraction of the event was the “Astronomy Corner”. Students displayed models of the solar system, Chandrayan-3, missiles and astronauts. About 250 models were displayed by students. The projects were based on agriculture and food security, energy resources and conservation, health, environmental issues, botanical garden, astronomy, science, disaster management, water conservation, robotics, science games and solar system etc.
Even tiny tots also participated in the science fair and displayed talent and won accolades for explaining about their models. Parents, who visited the science fair, were thrilled to see their children explaining about the science model with great confidence.
