School Cabinet elections conducted at Bhagavathi high school

KARIMNAGAR, JULY 06, 2024: Students of Bhagavathi High School, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar town, exercised their franchise to elect the school cabinet including Head Boy and Head Girl from three houses viz Agni, Trishul and Prithvi on their school campus on Saturday.

Festive atmosphere prevailed on the school campus with the student contestants campaigning rigorously explaining about the election manifesto. The students have exercised their franchise by showing their identity cards as the voters ID and polling staff mark indelible ink on their finger.

Some the students donned the role of police personnel regulating the queue lines and others acted as polling observers videographing entire proceedings. Above all, the election process was completed in a democratic process smoothly. The students were explained the importance of direct elections in a democracy to elect the public representatives.

School chairman B Ramana Rao and Correspondent B Vijayalakshmi launched the polling process by casting their votes. Later, the students formed serpentine queues to exercise their franchise. The Vice principal Monika Roy and other teachers also cast their votes.
