KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2026: Satavahana University Vice Chancellor Prof. U. Umesh Kumar hoisted the national flag on the administrative building premises and delivered an inspiring address to the faculty, administrative staff, and students.
On this occasion, the VC stated that Satavahana University is entering a transformative phase focused on enhancing academic standards and campus amenities. He highlighted ongoing infrastructure developments, such as the construction of new academic blocks, expansion of student hostel facilities, a synthetic track, a sports gallery, a new health center, and a gymnasium. He also mentioned efforts to launch new postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Management colleges this academic year and noted that proposals have been submitted to the government for recruiting non-teaching staff alongside these new courses. He affirmed that the university is moving forward in collaboration with both teaching and non-teaching staff to develop the institution by prioritising facilities and refusing to compromise on quality.
University Registrar Prof. Satish Kumar Peddapally, Vice-Chancellor’s OSD Harikanth, Controller of Examinations Suresh Kumar, Deans Jafer, and Principals of various colleges  Padmavathi, Ramakanth, Sriranga Prasad, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students participated.
At Satavahana University campus, Ramakanth, Principal, College of Science, hoisted the national flag and conveyed Independence Day greetings. Padmavathi, Principal, College of Arts, Social Sciences and Law, hoisted the national flag at her college, and Sriranga Prasad, Principal, College of Commerce & Management, hoisted the national flag at the Commerce college.
Srisailam, Principal, College of Pharmacy at LMD, hoisted the national flag alongside staff and students.
