
CM Revanth Reddy couple visit the Pushkar Ghat in the evening and take a holy dip
KALESHWARAM (JAYASHANKAR-BHUPALAPALLY DT), MAY 15, 2025: Goddess Saraswathi Pushkaralu got off to a start on a religious note with the people taking holy dips at the pushkar ghats at the ancient and historic Sri Kaleshwara Mukhteeshwar Swamy devasthanam in Kaleshwaram, which is also known as ‘Trilinga kshetram’ on Thursday morning.

Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with family members including his wife and Endowments Secretary Shailaja Ramayyar, High Court Judge Surapalli Nanda, Bhupalapalli MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, Collector Rahul Sharma, Trading corporation chairman Itha Pradesh Reddy and took a holy dip at the pushkar ghat at the Kaleshwaram temple shrine, formally marking the beginning of Pushkaral,u which would be held from May 15 to 26, 2025.
The priest, amid chanting of Vedic hymns and others, entered the rivers and performed the traditional puja rituals to launch the Pushkaralu. The dignitaries participated in the Lord Vinayaka puja before the launch of the Pushakaralu.
Sri Gurumadananda Saraswathi peethadipati Sri Sri Sri Madhava nanda Swaraswathi swamy launched the celebrations. The dignitaries offered pujas at the Sri Kaleshwara Mukhteeshwara Swamy Devasthanam. The authorities had made all arrangements for the benefit of devotees to take a holy dip in the river and offer prayers at the temple shrine.
There would be a daily evening harathi to the river Goddess Saraswathi and cultural programmes in the evening for the benefit of devotees.
