Rich tributes paid to Lok Satta Srinivas on his third death anniversary

KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 15, 2024: Rich tributes were paid to Lok Satta Udyama Samstha founder president and former Union Bank of India manager Naredla Srinivas on the occasion of his third death anniversary in Karimnagar town on Thursday. He succumbed to the deadly Covid-19 on February 15, 2021, which undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Karimnagar town.

Naredla Srinivas popularly called as ‘Seenanna’ was the lone crusader against the corruption in the integrated Karimnagar district and the Telangana state also. He was remembered for his services to the society and ensuring justice by raising the issue with the concerned officials. He played role to fight for the rights of the consumers through the Karimnagar Consumer Council (KCC) and was instrumental in the formation of Karimnagar Film society and construction of Film bhavan in Karimnagar town.

He was such a great person that he had completed his LLB and LLM education after his retirement as the UBI branch manager only for the cause of society and update his knowledge about the law and file consumer-related and other public issues cases in the courts. He had never say to anyone who approaches him for justice. He is the real man of the masses and always concerned about the society and their wellbeing.

Lok Satta udyama samstha, KCC and film society leaders R Chandra Prabhakar,  Prakash Holla, Syed Muzaffar, R Venkateshwar Rao, M Gangadhar, KS Narayana, K Anjaiah, and others hailed the services of Srinivas for the upliftment of society and fight against the corruption and other social issues prevailing in the society. They vowed to continue the path shown by Srinivas.

Ironically, the leaders belonging to Lok Satta udyama samstha, KCC, Karimnagar Film Society, RTI activists and other organisations make tall claims to fulfill the aspirations of Naredla Srinivas on the occasion of his birth and death anniversaries by garlanding his portrait. But, in reality they would not do anything to follow his footsteps. The Karimnagar film society members are not even allowing take up Lok Satta activities in the Film bhavan as they Lok Satta udyama samstha do not have any official location after the death of Mr Srinivas.
