

Indian Red Cross Society officials collected 34 units of blood at the camp


KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 04, 2024: The Regional Animal Husbandry Training Centre, Karimnagar, in association with the Indian Red Cross Society has organised a blood donation camp at its training centre in Karimnagar town on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Training Centre Assistant Director Dr S Linga Reddy said that there was an acute gap between the need and supply of blood, as it could not be manufactured in factories but can only be collected through donations. He said every healthy person should donate blood as it did not have any adverse affect on health. He said that service to mankind was service to God.
On this occasion, a total of 34 persons had donated the blood including Dr S Linga Reddy, faculty Dr Sai Chaitanya, Dr Divya, Dr Ramesh, Dr Srinivas, veterinary junior doctors, veterinary representatives and others.
