
Nine nominations were filed from Karimnagar Teachers Constituency
The last date for filing nominations is February 10
Elections will be conducted on February 27 from 8 am to 4 pm and the counting of votes on March 3
KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 07, 2025: A record number of 28 nominations were filed for the MLC elections from the Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduates Constituency and Two nominations for the Teachers Constituency in Karimnagar town on Friday.
With this, a total of 49 nominations were filed from the Karimnagar Graduates Constituency and nine nominations from the Teachers Constituency. Karimnagar Collector and Returning Officer Pamela Satpathy received the nominations from the contestants in her chambers at the Collectorate in Karimnagar town. There was hectic activity in the town with the arrival of contestants in processions along with their supporters.
Prominent among those who filed the nominations from the Karimnagar graduate constituency include; Congress nominee and Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy, BJP contestant Chinna Mile Anji Reddy, former Mayor S Ravinder Singh, Laksh Educational Institutions chairman Mohammed Mustaq Ali, retired assistant professor Prasanna Harikrishna, TRSMA state advisor Y Shekhar Rao and others
Educationist and BJP nominee Malka Komuraiah filed his nominations from the Karimnagar Teachers Constituency. The last date for filing of nominations is February 10. Elections will be conducted on February 27 from 8 am to 4 pm and counting of votes on March 3.
